Identity re-brand of the WCRD 91.3 radio station, as a project with the Design Seminar Spring 2017. Worked collaboratively with a team of four other designers to give WCRD a fresh, modern identity.
The logo solution plays with the negative space of the letterforms. The space features a representation of an emoticon hand moving forward to press a play button. The play button is symbolic of the “Always Better” slogan, which cues people to tune in and play WCRD.
